Pastor Kimberely R. Allen—affectionately known as Lady Kim—is not just a First Lady. She is a  spiritual leader, author, entrepreneur, Certified Christian Counselor, and ordained Chaplain dedicated to helping others rise from limitations into divine purpose. A native of Washington, D.C., Lady Kim serves as one the Associate Pastors of Connect Church in Waldorf, Maryland, alongside her husband of 40 years, Pastor Jonathan W. Allen, Sr.

 

She and her husband  co-lead Couples Strengthening Couples, a marriage ministry that has provided spiritual covering and connection for couples for over 15 years. 

 

 After leaving high school at 17, Lady Kim earned her GED at 40, went on to graduate as valedictorian of Givens Bible College in 2004, and earned her Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies and Church Management from Azusa World Ministry Training Institute in 2010. She completed her Master of Divinity at Virginia Union University, further establishing her theological voice.

 

Lady Kim is a certified life coach and chaplain with a passion for helping people navigate healing, faith, and purpose. She’s the visionary behind Finally Talls By KYRA, a fashion line for 21st-century tall women, and God’s Hot Off The Press, a custom t-shirt production company. From 2002-2020, she operated a tuition-free  summer camp for youth, making faith, fun, and formation accessible.

 

In 2020, she released her memoir Living in Two Worlds – Destined for Change and the companion journal Destined for Change, empowering readers to own their story and embrace transformation. 

 

For the last five years she has spearheaded and hosted the W.O.W and He’s in Me conference.
